Insight Global Sr ServiceNow Developer (Custom App) in Silver Spring, Maryland

Job Description

Day to Day:

- Perform hands-on development, and modifications to new and extend capabilities offered by the ServiceNow platform.

- Formulates/defines system scope and objectives.

- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written and designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs.

- Work as a ServiceNow developer with the skills to navigate and manage demands while being part of building platform solutions that will meet and transform our business processes.

- Work within your team on new ServiceNow development efforts while maximizing the value of the applications being built.

- Leverage ServiceNow platform capabilities, build customized ServiceNow applications, apply expertise in technical work, build and refine business logic to enhance team capabilities, improve security, and maximize the ServiceNow ROI.

Skills and Requirements

Must Haves :

- 6+ years of IT experience including 5+ years of ServiceNow Development

  • Experience with ServiceNow's HRSD Module

- Bachelor's Degree

  • US Citizenship to comply with government public trust requirements

  • Strong communication skills

Must have experience with :

o Custom Application Development

o Integration Experience

o Custom Portal Development Plusses:

- ServiceNow certification

- Experience with the HRSD Module in ServiceNow

- Team Lead experience null
